The lucky mochi usually makes its appearance for the new year. For that reason, it's number "O," and it starts off our Tarot Patch Collection. The mochi sticks together, like family. The two mounds symbolize the continuation of one's family through the generations. Mochi was brought to the Hawaiian Islands by Japanese plantation workers at the turn of the 20th century.
